The 9th China International Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning Expo (CIHE & HVAC 2009) started as soon as The General Manager of Beijing B&D Tiger Exhibition Co., Ltd. announced the Opening Ceremony. The leaders of relative associations and organizations, such as CCPIT Construction Industry Commerce Chamber, Architectural Society of China HVAC&R Committee, China Construction Metal Structure Association Heating and Radiator Committee, China Construction Metal Structure Association Floor-heating Committee, China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation, Danish Board of District Heating China, and entrepreneurs from leading HVAC companies, for example, Marley and Broen, were invited to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. At 10’o clock on Feb 25^th, guests were ready to visit the show and other attendees began to flow into the exhibiting hall. Thousands of people were registering and waiting at the square of exhibition center which made a hot view in the early spring.

One exhibitor made comments on the show: “CIHE & HVAC 2009 is getting better and better, look around, the visitors, I just can’t believe what I am seeing, and you’ve really done a good job to attract this amount of attendees to visit the show, I am very glad to be here.”

Also, one attendee from Beijing had his view towards the show: “It is much bigger than last show which held in Beijing Exhibition Center, and I also found much more giant companies here. The exhibit area is larger, the famous brands are more. Wish you good luck next show!”

As recorded, only on the first day of the show, 19,425 person-times visited the show, and this number is closed to last years’ total number of first 2 days. CIHE & HVAC is accepted by more and more HVAC professionals, experts, detailers, contractors and people working in real estate industry. Finally, the overall person-time visit reached 32,526, nearly 2 times of CIHE & HVAC 2008.

From the above figures and data, we could see a steady and fast growing CIHE & HVAC which greatly depends on the efforts made by sponsors, exhibitors and the organizing committee; therefore, everyone including the exhibitors and visitors could expect a much different one in 2010.

The concurrent activities were as popular as the show. China Heating Conference is a new series of m

eetings organized by the relative organization in HVAC industry and Beijing B&D Tiger Exhibition Co., Ltd.  The first conference included 20 speeches presented by managers, engineers and experts, topics ranging from new type of heating products, building energy-saving Technology to trend analysis of European radiator market, as well as energy conservation application in building heating system, etc. LonMark International Association also held their educational seminar by this occasion, discussing about energy efficiency through intelligent controls and the opportunity and challenge for building energy efficiency in China. The conference and seminars lasted for almost two days, thousands of people attended and expressed their satisfaction of involving in the activities to learn more about the development and trend of HVAC industry.

Expectation for CIHE & HVAC 2010

The CIHE & HVAC will have its 10 years’ anniversary in 2010, which will be another memorable moment since the integration of CIHE and HVAC China. Therefore, based on the favorable achievement in 2009, the organizing committee decided to reform both on exhibition operation and expansion of educational activities. The 2^nd China Heating Conference is supposed to be the highlight in 2010, moreover, we will actively and positively work with overseas media, associations and organizations to make CIHE & HVAC much more international, to meet the demands of foreign manufacturers and domestic market, to explore new areas for not only Chinese HVAC industry, but also for the entire HVAC community in the world. Meanwhile, by cooperating with LonMark International Association, building automation area is the core and necessary development direction for CIHE & HVAC 2010.
